LT UGM at NAM 2007

Astronomers and engineers from the LT group will be participating in the 2007 National Astronomy Meeting, hosted this year by the Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston from 16-20 April.

Talk

A talk will be given by Iain Steele (Head of the Liverpool Telescope Group) entitled "Liverpool Telescope - new opportunities and instrumenation". The talk will describe the new instrumentation and operating modes that will be comissioned over the next year that will considerably extend the scientific potential of the telescope. This talk will be in Session P29: "Current Facilities", Wednesday 18 April, 14.00 - 17.30.

User Group Meeting

All Liverpool Telescope users and potential users are invited to a User Group Meeting on Wednesday 18 April at 17:30, immediately following the above session in Room HA117. This will be an opportunity to meet members of the LT team, give feedback on use of the telescope, and help define future priorities for development and instrumentation.
